Luckily I did not get any morning sickness while I was pregnant. I do get nauseous though when suffering through a migraine. Today, am on Day 2 of migraine pain. Ugh...I just want to barf already.

Out Loud
Me thinking out loud:
I do not care about how many followers a blog has. To me, it's meaningless. I would rather have 1 reader who comments on a post vs. 100 followers. IMHO the joy of blogging is in the fact that someone READS what you have to write and is drawn in enough to leave a comment. The interaction is what drives me to blog.

Afternoon Delight
Time for an afternoon break to quickly jot down a few things that hopefully will trigger a blog post when I am back online.
The Internet at home ban is not bad at all. I am enjoying an Internet free home life. My husband, son, and I took a nice stroll though the neighborhood. Watched a few DVDs. We didn't attend the party that we had planned to since our son has the sniffles and a small cough. We didn't want to be "those parents" who bring their sick child to a children's party and spread the sickness to all of the other kiddos.
I got pulled over by a police officer this morning. First time ever. Mistaken identity. I was stressing: 1) because I've never been pulled over before 2) I was already running late 3) I wasn't sure if I had my ID with me since I put in in my pocket the day before during our family walk.
Apparently they are watching our neighborhood looking for a 20 something year old female with dark hair. They were a little off the mark - I'm double the age of the "Young Female" they were looking for. They showed me her picture and told me where she lived. I was still a bit stressed and forgot to ask why she is wanted. The girl looks young and I think I've seen her around the neighborhood walking her dog....but it's been a while. After a few questions they apologized to me and I was on my way. I'm glad I had my drivers license with me after all. I'm flattered that I can be confused with a twenty year old - at least from a distance!

Morning Break Randomness
OK, I am taking my little sips of Internet as I go on my breaks while at the office. Must type fast.
First off, lets all pray for those affected by the devastation in Japan.
My Internet ban is a great thing. It has me looking forward to the brief moments that I have allowed myself. The true test will be this weekend as I will not get my little "sip". I am not too worried as I have a brand new niece to visit, a birthday party to celebrate, and quality time with my boys. I am getting more sleep and more "date night" type time with hubby. We watched a DVD together as baby snoozed. Sleep has been such a good thing. I had taken for granted the value of a good night's sleep. Maybe I'll continue with skipping the Internet while at home even after Lent...That's a thought.
I decided to post my blogs here as a means of reflection for when I have more time to go in depth with a blog.
Just my daily babble and brainstorming session.
Gotta run.

Easter
I love the Easter Season. I posted a blog Fat Tuesday and listed what I'd be giving up. I have to quickly post this blog while on a break at work because I have given up Internet at home for the 40 days of Lent.
I wanted to just jot down a few things to reflect back on later.
We brought our son to his first Ash Wednesday mass. He did well and didn't fuss. He is a friendly little guy and smiled away at anyone who would look at him. He was only days old the first time we brought him and he has not missed a Sunday in his life since then.
After Church we met my new baby niece, Faith. I am so excited to get to know her!
I slept at 9:40 PM. No internet is a good thing.
